The push train is Etsy's system for coordinating code pushes and incident response. It's the company's human-centric secret to continuous delivery at scale.

There have been talks on the technical details of deploying 60 times per day, but the rituals involved have not been adequately described. As a result, many other companies copy the tools without the folk model. The results are sub-optimal. This talk is the missing manual.
